Catechists
Pre-School: ages 2 to Pre-Kinder ~ Sessions held on Sundays at 9AM and 11AM.
Requirements: Practicing Catholic,complete Catechist training and Virtus training.
Time Commitment: 90 min./wk

Sundays at 12:45PM and 4:15PM
Mondays at 4PM (K-4), 5:30 PM (1-6)

OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation for Children, ages 7-17)- This process is for children wishing to become Catholic.
Needed: catechists, retreat team, scripture study leaders, general help.
Requirements: Practicing Catholic, complete OCIC training, be Virtus certified.
Time Commitment: varies from once a week to once a month or less.

Sacrament Prep: Grades 2-5 who are preparing for their 1st Reconciliation & 1st Communion. Family-centered catechesis.
Needed: family facilitators, office help.
Requirements: Practicing Catholic, complete training session, be Virtus certified.

Infant Baptism Team
Looking for facilitators for our parent Baptism classes. Training is provided. Each team teaches 2 classes a month (1st and 3rd Saturdays, 10Am-Noon) every other month.
Adult Ed. Committee
Looking for people (21 yrs. old+) committed to ongoing growth in their faith to serve as subcommittee members to our Adult Ed Committee in the areas of scripture study, speaker series, adult Confirmation, family catechesis, and more.
RCIA Team
Want to be part of an adult’s faith journey to becoming Catholic? We need team members in all stages of this process. Time commitment can be once a week or once a month or even less! We also need men & women to be sponsors.

Eucharistic Visitation Ministry
Our mission is to take Holy Communion to the sick, homebound, etc. We are presently forming an additional team to visit the homebound on Sundays. Must be an EMHC at STAOP. Each team member will serve one (1) Sunday each month for approximately 1 1/2 hours. Please contact Bill Jennings.
