What is PreSchool FF

Pre-school Faith Formation is a lectionary based program; each week the child is learning what you are listening to in church but on their level. They hear the same readings and get the same message as if they were in church with you but they are related more to the little children.

WHAT DO THE CHILDREN DO IN PRESCHOOL FF?

The children will do a coloring sheet when they first enter to class that relates to the story they will be hearing. Once all the children arrive they will gather together and have a story read to them, this story relates to the reading you are hearing in mass. After the reading they do an art project that goes along with what they heard and learned. They do have a snack time during the class and they will meet for a music time where we come together and sing songs about God, Jesus, and our church. They end each day with a prayer and if time allows there are games for them to play that relate to the story of the day.

HOW LONG ARE CLASSES?  WHEN ARE THEY IN SESSION?

Each class his held during the entire mass time. We do follow the Conroe ISD school schedule, which means we do not meet when the public schools are not in session.

HOW BIG ARE THE CLASSES?

It depends on the age of your child.  The two year old classes will have no more than 12 children, the three year old classes have no more than 16 children, and the pre-kindergarten classes will have no more than 20 children.  Each class will have to VIRTUS certified teachers and we encourage parents to sign up to help in the classroom once in a while.
