Natural Family Planning
The Natural Family Planning ministry helps couples to live the beauty of the Catholic Church’s teaching on marriage and family life. NFP is a method of family planning that is in accord with Catholic Church teaching and can be used both to achieve or to avoid or postpone pregnancy.

Class Series: A Class Series will teach you what you need to know to start using NFP. At St. Anthony’s you will be taught the Sympto-Thermal Method of NFP, where you will learn to chart your fertility signs. The class series consists of three meetings spaced one month apart. Couples attend classes together and are taught by a married couple who is certified to teach the class series. A fee is charged for the classes to cover the cost of materials. To find a class at St. Anthony’s or a neighboring parish, please search for a class at the Couple to Couple League website.
Our next class here at St. Anthony of Padua will begin on Saturday December 1, at 9:00 AM.

We also invite couples interested in becoming NFP Teachers to attend our next Teacher Training Class. Anyone interested should contact Mike & Mary Ellen Van Horn.
Information Meeting: An Information Meeting serves as an introduction to NFP. It gives you “the big picture” and considers the benefits of NFP along with a discussion of the science behind the Sympto-Thermal Method. Meetings are held at St. Dominic’s Diocesan Center in Houston, in both English & Spanish. For mor information, please email nfpflm@aol.com or call Joe DeVet at 281-723-5686. For engaged couples at St. Anthony’s, this Information Meeting is incorporated into the Engaged Couples Orientation Meeting.
