Adaptive Needs / Amazing Grace

Our belief is that no one, regardless of physical or cognitive abilities, should be kept from opportunities of inclusion in faith formation, sacramental preparation, and fellowship with others. Amazing Grace Ministry exists to provide opportunities for inclusion and true fellowship for persons with special needs, their families/supports, friends, and community members.

We are always in need of Catechists (teachers and co-teachers) — prayerfully consider becoming a part of this special ministry. Amazing Grace will host a “come and see” on Sunday, August 13 at 2:30pm in the Paduan Center and again on Monday, August 14 at 5:30pm in the Parish Life Building room 202.  No experience necessary! Bring a loving heart to work with children.

Circle of Grace

Circle of Grace continues the effort first begun on September 1, 2011, in compliance with the USCCB Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. Cardinal DiNardo has directed that every parish in the Archdiocese implement the Circle of Grace, a program which provides faith-based safe environment lessons for children and youth in kindergarten through the 12th grades. This annual program provides grade-specific lessons each year to help children and young people develop the skills to protect themselves from sexual abuse. An essential parent component complements the grade-specific lessons.
